End the sexism in Civillization Games

It seems clear to me that Civ is a tool used by the gendered patriarchy to continue to perpetuate the illusion of male dominance on young children. Oh sure you say and point to Isabella or Catherine look there are womyn in civ. Wrong, those are not womyn rather they are eye candy who serve to objectify womyn. Civ is being utilized as a misogynistic tool of male supremacy.

Cathrine the Great did not look like a hooker playing dress up, she was dignified, regal, and powerful. Instead what we have is a person who makes jokes about treaties in pockets. Isabella is a aggressive and zealous character reinforcing sexist notions of "female hysteria" and ignoring her many other contributions to history.

And let us not forget the fact the only female unit is the spy again reinforcing notions of womyn as being sneaky, underhanded, and liars. Where is the womyn infantry unit or the womyn archer or swordsmen? And how many womyn Great Artists, Generals, Engineers, and Scientists are there? Very few. The gendered patriarchy has used civ as a propaganda tool.

I urge all of you to join me in protesting this injustice, let us send emails and letters to the male chauvinistic pigs who have created this game and demand they take a more gender appropriate portrayal of womyn and their accomplishments. I will be writing a online petition and I urge you all to sign it. Furthermore I suggest a boycott of the game until they accede to our demands.

1. A more appropriate and appreciative view of the womyn rulers
2. All countries to have a womyn leader to go along with the male one
3. All units to have a female version
4. An equal number of female Great people as male
5. The developers to issue an apology for their sexism
