Establishment of a U.S. Tariff against China

This petition, concerning the Unites States trade policy towards the People's Republic of China, is aimed at the establishment of a tariff against Chinese goods.

The signers of this petition are concerned with numerous issues, among them the increasing trade deficit with China, and also the loss of Unites States citizens jobs and businesses. In addition to those numerous businesses that have been destroyed by the current trade agreements with China, there are the numerous suffering businesses to take into account. There are many companies who outsource American jobs to China because of the low cost in producing goods there, to be sold back to this country easily due to the free trade arrangement.
In addition to all of this, the market of the United States is now being flooded with cheap forgeries produced in China, some of these even putting lives in danger.

We thus, for the reasons stated above, humbly ask that a moderate to substantial tariff be imposed against the Peoples Republic of China.
