Fair upgrade pricing for Macromedia Studio MX owners

Macromedia should reward customer loyalty instead of penalizing it.
Since it is possible to upgrade from Fireworks MX ($299) to Studio 8 ($999) and actually pay less than retail, it is disrespectful to ask Studio MX ($999) owners to pay the same for an upgrade.
This means a new buyer can now get Studio 8 for $698, buy first buying Fireworks MX then upgrading. While a loyal Studio user is expected to have invested twice that now with a total cost of Studio MX and Studio 8 of $1398.00
Even at $99 for an upgrade to Studio 8. It still means loyal Studio MX users have paid $400 more than someone buying Fireworks MX and Studio 8 new for the first time.
Given these facts:
We the loyal users and buys of Studio MX and MX 2004 ask Macromedia to show value in our customer loyalty by offering us a $99 upgrade to Studio 8.

I actually recommend that people get on E-Bay, and buy something so they can upgrade, and in the process feel ripped off.
