Fire FEMA Director Mike Brown

We, the citizens of the United States of America, hereby call upon President Bush to immediately remove Michael D. Brown from the position of Under Secretary of Emergency Preparedness and Response (nominally, the Director of FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency)). Mr. Brown displayed a complete and total lack of competence in his management of the disaster in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Mr. Brown is in no way prepared for the responsibilties of this position and the magnitude of the crisis in New Orleans and throughout the Gulf Coast region. If the President is unwilling to take this action, we call upon the U.S Congress to take action and to terminate Mr. Brown's tenure.
