Fire Larry Merchant

Larry Merchant has been part of HBO Boxing's commentary team for far too long. While Mr. Merchant may have provided some good analysis in his early days he is currently far too old, incoherent, and ultimately incapable of doing his job. His post fight interviews are often confusing, unintelligable, and even worse - condescending to the boxers themselves. He takes away fom our enjoyment of HBO boxing's broadcasts which are otherwise excellent. Along with Jim Lampley and Emmanuel Steward, HBO's primary team of commentators is far too old to appeal to boxing's younger viewership. We implore the executives at HBO boxing relieve Mr. Merchant of his commentator position and find a suitable replacement with all due haste .
