We, the undersigned, believe that current Knicks General Manager, Scott Layden, and Knicks/MSG Owners Cablevision, have not only done a poor job in the management of one of New York's most beloved sports franchises, but have run it into the ground, guaranteeing years of mediocrity.
Poor business decisions, numerous and obvious personnel missteps, and an inability to explain any rationale for decisions when confronted have proven that the current regime in place is unable to properly manage this team.
Millions of fan dollars are spent on merchandise and tickets each year, and most of this money is frivolously spent on things that will not benefit these fans (customers).
This irresponsibility must end. As a corporate entity, Cablevision must root out individual problems. The main, and most visible problem, has been the actions of General Manager Scott Layden.
Please review his job performance to date, and hear the words of your still-paying customers: The best fans in Basketball, the fans of the New York Knicks.
