Free John Baugher!

I have a friend who told me a story; my friend talked about how he wished that justice could see his love for his small children, he wished he wasnt told to lay down and wait while others decided what was true about a man who had little way to defend an already slandered honor. He felt alone, desperate. In his sorrow, most of his friends were kind, they listened, tried to cheer him up and give this man good advice. He thought no one could understand. After nine months of missing his beloved children, my friend did what some would say unthinkable, he took the children that he felt were taken from him. This was my friends truth, and he has voiced it several times to many people, you know who you are.

I could not believe it when I heard this news! After seeing my friend on several occasions at a coffee shop downtown; I knew he felt helpless in this fight for visitation. He had spoke at length about his love for his children and the bitter-sweet of what used to be a amiable relationship between he and his ex. He would share with not only me, but all of his friends about these things, I am not the only one to have knowledge of this story of a caring father who loved his children so much, he couldnt stand being apart from them. I didnt see this coming. Had anyone else?

The news has painted this man to be mentally unstable and a danger to his children! Those who know this man know the truth. I cant imagine going to the length that he has gone to. I am not writing to advocate kidnapping but I am writing to say that when a person in pushed beyond recall, and everyone sees it happening and not one person comes to their aid, this is what we see on the morning news. I would have to wonder how unstable I might feel after enduring a few months of what my friend had endured.

Kidnapping is no doubt what this man must have believed to be happening to his children! But it wasnt illegal, no person thought it out of the ordinary. Some had gone so far as to tell this man to settle down, possibly find another wife and have other children, move on with his life!

I am sorry for anyones children being separated from them, man or woman. And when necessary, laws should be upheld, I do believe in protecting our children. I guess because I knew this man, I heard his story and felt that if no one said a word Friends of John Baugher please unite! Tell everyone his truth not because your promoting kidnapping of children but because this could have ALL been avoided had one truth been spoken in the beginning. I only have one side of a story to go by, everything I have wrote has been only my experience with one person, going through with what I imagine many parents wrongly denied access to their children only think of doing, be it not for the penalty of our laws. Who does this responsibility REALLY lie with?
