We the undersigned viewers and fans of the CBS soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful, demand that Jack Wagner's character Nick Marone, be released from the current storyline that involves him being paired with Hunter Tylo's character, Taylor Hayes.

We the loyal fans of the Bold and the Beautiful are not happy with the way Jack Wagner's character has been written of late. The inconsistent writing has damaged his character immensely, destroying all the ingenuity and integrity the character possessed when he first appeared on the show.
The character of Nick Marone: a smart, no-nonsense, honest sailor first came on the show as the love interest for Brooke Logan portrayed by Katherine Kelly Lang. The romance between the two characters was extremely popular with many fans. The sudden end of this romance was not only nonsensical but showcases inconsistent writing. This latest storyline involving Nick Marone trying to have a baby with Taylor Hayes via IVF was largely an unpopular, insensitive joke of a story that left many viewers fuming. The pairing of Nick Marone, portrayed by Jack Wagner and Taylor Hayes, portrayed by Hunter Tylo, was incredulous and ridiculous, and was voted as a 'miss' by many popular soap opera magazines.

Jack Wagner is a highly successful and seasoned actor with many years of experience in acting, daytime and primetime. To destroy the character he portrays with such inconsistent revisionist writing is an insult and waste of his immense talent.

Ratings for The Bold and the Beautiful has been shown to dramatically decrease over the past few months ever since Jack Wagner's character, Nick Marone, is uncharacteristically pursuing Taylor Hayes.

CBS needs to utilize good, seasoned actors they have on the show. Fans were happy when Nick Marone was paired with Brooke Logan due to their portrayers' undeniable onscreen chemistry. If they want to improve its current low ratings, we demand that the writers of the Bold and the Beautiful pull Nick Marone out of his current ridiculous mess of a storyline and replace it with a much more credible one.

In conclusion, we the undersigned, the BB fans that keep this show on CBS, demand that Jack Wagner be released from his pairing with Hunter Tylo, a co-star that generates no chemistry whatsoever with him, and be paired with Katherine Kelly Lang's character Brooke Logan, with whom his character Nick Marone belongs.
