Freedom for Ly Tong

To Whom It May Concern

During the past 31 years, people still havent give up the hope of democracy for the needed, and Ly Tong is one of them. Mr. Tong, 58, a South Vietnamese air force veteran-turned- U.S. citizen, rent a plane from Thailand in November 2000 and dropped some 50,000 leaflets calling for insurrection against the Communist government of Vietnam during former U.S. President Bill Clinton's visit to the country.

His action it is neither criminal nor terrorism acts, but rather simply a doing of anyone who has a heart and loves his Global Villagers (as Mr. Tong has done for Cuba). But today, the money talk in economic policies between the VN Communist and Thai Land, has push the Thailand's Criminal Court ruled Thursday to extradite Vietnamese dissident Ly Tong to Vietnam to face charge of violating Vietnam's national security for using a Thailand-based light aircraft to drop anti-communist leaflets over Saigon City six years ago. Even though Mr. Tong has severed the times for this charge in Thai Lands Correctional Center. But as according to Ly Tongs lawyer Mr. Worasit Piriyawiboon spoke out on 7-Sept-2006 after court, the Thais Criminal Court has neglected and turn their back on Ly Tong evidence profiles which will prove that Ly Tong actions in this matter is simply a politic issue and Mr. Tong can not be extradite. As seen it is a bias court decision, base on the money talk of the political policies between VN Government and Thai Land Power House. It is does NOT base on democratic laws and the norms values of humans rights.

We all living in a global village so-called the liberty of democracy, we claimed and defined ourselves democratic, neither by the fine cloths we wears nor by having democratic institutions but rather because we acts and have ideology thoughts of democratic.

As for the 21st Century, the worlds itself do not classify or segregated by the color of the skins or the stereo types on races. It is simply because we all human and we respect the norms value of common sense of human rights. That is why we all care when Tsunami hits our Global Villagers or the incident on Sep 11 (USA) etc. Each and every one of us reach out our hands and give the needed our full supports.

But today, some where in the third world country like Viet Nam, the Vietnamese are still suffers under the dictatorship rules of the Vietnam Communist Regime, and any one who love liberty and democracy will always acknowledge these in-human rights which days by days are torturing the lives of the Vietnamese. (And also because of the moral norms of what is rights, that is why the Global Villagers had accepts and support the Refugees.) Here is the times, we need that kind of hearts and hands to save a man or so-called a freedom fighter Ly Tong. The US Power House may give up on its citizens, but our human hearts will not let us. We CAN NOT be silent, simply our silent on Ly Tongs issue will not just helping the VN Dictator Regimes execute and life who loves liberty and freedom, but it is also destroy all the so-called The protector of Rights Values images which the Global Village claim itself to be.

Therefore, we urge the Global Villagers the NGOs Institutions, The Media of Human Rights, The Amnesty, and all of anyone who love liberty and respect what is rights to reach out stand with us to send out a voice calling for WHATS IS RIGHTS. FIGHT FOR LY TONG FREEDOM, UPHOLD NORMS VALUES OF DEMOCRACY. Because... it is a rights thing to do and simply because we are human we care.
