Get Rid Of BB06

TO THE HONOURABLE THE SPEAKER AND MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES ASSEMBLED IN PARLIAMENT:

The petition of certain citizens of Australia draws to the attention of the House the appalling distress and human suffering caused by the current, incredibly boring series of Big Brother, commonly called BB06. We point out that this series is by far the worst series of Big Brother ever produced anywhere in the world and has become an incredible embarrassment to our nation both locally and in the international arena.

We also point out that the Prime Minister has recently raised the issue of nuclear power and that there has been an elevated level of concern amongst the less informed of our citizens regarding the safety of nuclear energy.

We believe that the current "situation" with BB06 presents the ideal opportunity to address these safety concerns. We therefore respectfully respectfully suggest that the Federal Government immediately begin the construction of a small nuclear reactor on the site currently occupied by the Big Brother House. The proximity of the reactor to Dream World, a popular tourist destination, would permit the public to experience first-hand the safety inherent in the design of the latest nuclear reactors while at the same time ridding us of Big Brother forever. The site location provides for a significant safety barrier from the Australian population being located in what is otherwise the uninhabited wasteland known as "Queensland". In the unlikely event of an accident, the cost to human life would be negligible and in fact would benefit Australia by allowing for the establishment of far better tourist parks in the much better areas of the country.

We pray that the parliament strongly considers this proposal.
