Our family and others have been fighting the Southwestern Student Transporation Service (STS) since the beginning of September. They want my children ( 9 and 6 years old) to walk up a high traffic country road ( Glendon Drive, or the Oxford St extension) just outside of London, Ontario. This road of course has no sidewalks or anywhere safe for my children to walk. They cannot walk it all, let alone, alone or with myself (their mom) as I have three other children (4, 2 and 6 months). I have called everyone and tried everything and have gotten no where, so I turned to a petition to see what can be done!
Our family and friends have been doing everything they can to make sure my children get to and from school but they still have missed a few days of school. This is not fair to them!
Please sign, tell everyone you know about it and let's see what we can do to get busing for children that need it!!
