Most people have claimed that the PS3 and the PSP are not gaming devices, and Sony have been one of the main perpetuaters of this claim. Both systems are NOT Next-gen Gaming because even the makers of the console have claimed that they are all-in one multimedia stations and entertainment supercomputers and not a gaming machine.
For example, if someone came out with a DVD attachment to a microwave and allowed you to play games on it, would the microwave then be up for discussion on NGG? I doubt it.
Because of this we are striving to eliminate all discussion of the PSP and the PS3 from Next-Gen Gaming on Gamefaqs and instead wish to focus on the true gaming machines, the Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo Wii.
