The Commonwealth Games is one of the worlds most prestigious events of the sporting calendar and Scotland has launched a bid to host the 2014 games in Glasgow.
Charlie Gordon MSP is appealing to the residents of Glasgow Cathcart to support Scotlands bid to bring the 2014 games to Glasgow and believes the benefits of hosting such an event would inspire Glasgow Cathcart constituents, young and old, to participate in sport, improving their health and life chances and also lead to long term business and tourism opportunities for local companies.
