Gullible Amnesty International Tactics

The cricket World Cup is an event that has given the cricketing nations an opportunity to come together as one!
People from all walks of life are taking part in this event, No matter your skin color or what your faith is, what ever the age or culture or hair style all have come together as one in the true spirit of sportsmanship
One gullible organization with a hidden agenda is trying to destroy this event & no authority is making the right move to put a stop to this
Amnesty international is using the cricket world cup to propagate its hidden agenda of tarnishing the image of the Sri Lankan people
AI should stop violating the fundamental rights of Sri Lankan cricketers and their supporters enjoying a peaceful game of cricket.
While there hundreds and thousands of innocent people who are being abused by powerful nations in the name of democracy AI has not taken any valid steps to highlight this however they are using a major event such as the Cricket World cup to spoil the image of cricket and the cricket loving nation of Sri Lanka with cheap tactics
It is sad to see an organization dedicated to protect every ones human rights launch a campaign to achieve their goal while trampling on a particular groups right.
Sri Lanka cricket team is a one big family. It includes players from every major ethnic group in Sri Lanka without any divisions on language or religion or any other barriers. At this World Cup they are on a winning streak and have a very good chance of winning the cup. What this campaign intends is to distract them from their task and humiliate them.
Mixing a political issue with sports events shows how desperate Amnesty International is to tarnish Sri Lankas image in the eyes of the world. This act is no different from what a terrorist group would do to achieve their goals. Why AI is targeting the players at the sporting event. Why not campaigning at political events like just concluded SAARC meeting in India.
o Sport has always united the Sri Lankan nation and has helped promote tolerance and peaceful coexistence among the different communities. The Sri Lankan national cricket team consists of players of all communities, Sinhalese, Tamil, Muslim and Burgher.
o The politicization of any sports event is deplorable and contrary to United Nations General Assembly resolution 59/10 of 8 December 2004, entitled 'Sport as a means to promote education, health, development and peace'.
o AI went to the extent of lying when they gave assurances to the Sri Lanka High Commission in London that AI had not organized any activities in the West Indies, AI has launched a cricket ball signing campaign.
Furthermore, AI should be held responsible if any abuse or pressure is brought upon any members or support staff of the cricket team by the public in the Caribbean due to AIs callous action. Which has the capacity to undermine the Sri Lankan team's morale (and hence performance) as in justifying your actions, you are sullying Sri Lanka's excellent record in protecting democracy for close to 60 years since gaining independence from Britain.
It is time that AI plays with a straight bat and takes a considered stance against Tamil Tiger terrorist's violation of human rights.

Inaction will only confirm AI's bias in favour of terrorists. AI has given Sri Lankans the bunkum that their charter is limited to keeping democratically elected governments honest.
Every peace loving, Cricket loving Human being should loud his/her objection to such gullible actions by the Amnesty International
