Anhad, an upcoming Hindi Rock band was recently refused a gig by the Hard Rock Cafe Management. Not on grounds of being qualitatively good, but on grounds that they were a 'Hindi' rock band. This, by a 'multi-national' company, in a country where hindi (though not officially declared the national language) is perhaps the most commonly used language.
In a nutshell, 'they' disallow a band, that sings in 'our' language, in 'our' country, on grounds that it is all 'ours'.
Care to sign a petition, a move against this 'outsider' behaviour affecting us, insiders???
