HHS Rugby Club An Official School Sport

In 2004, Spanish teacher Freddy Lopez came up with the idea in which to create the Rugby Club at Hillsborough High School. The club, overtime, gained interest causing more students to join. After signing up for a league and paying all the fees, the team continued to dominate all the games that season. As a result, more and more students proceeded to gain interest - leading to both a variety of players and an increase in the team's count. In conclusion, the Hillsborough High School Rugby Club rose to the top of the School's sports and continues to grow stronger and larger. All of the current team's Rugby players, and even former Rugby players, would enjoy the luxury of the sport to have it's own Varsity team.
