Dear Public, I would like to bring this issue to the worlds attention. Over the past couple of years, actor/singer/lifeguard & 80s heartthrob, David Hasselhoff has started to gain a cult following on the Internet. This guy has risen to a second stardom by giving us ammo for email, after email of computer edited images that have tickled our 80s cheese loving hearts, any one remember the ON/HOFF switch? So simple, yet so brilliant. Unfortunately, the under-god David Hasselhoff has recently made two memorable appearances in our national newspapers and news channels. And both times he made news, simply because he was completely out of his face. I personally have no problem with it. If your life is built around a constant joke, your going to need the odd drink every now and then, but David youve now gone and wet your pants. Its a sad story, and even sadder that since 1982 he has been a role model, and an icon, spanning eras... and look whats happening to him.

This is a plea to everyone who has enjoyed a laugh at Davids expense. We need to let the Hoff know that no matter how he acts or whether he can retain his bodily fluids, hes always got a special place in our hearts. The Hoff needs restoration; hes a wreck almost the same as an old unique building that is falling apart. But unfortunately no amount of money can help David, only David can help David. So I am asking you to join me in signing this petition. Lets let the Hoff know we are all behind him, and wish him good health, and many more years as an entertainer.

David if you read this, all these people have taken time to sign this in a bid for you to clean up but no matter what you do were all behind you, and watching.

P.s. If enough people sign this we can put the idea forward to channel 4 (they are just about crazy enough to take it on) to make a programme about David going through rehab. Come on peopleThe Hoff needs YOU!
