iDark, energy efficient computers

Computers are one of the biggest users of power on the planet, in order to reduce the amount of carbon produced, we can limit the amount of energy that computer's output. One one of doing this is to turn change the standard way we read information from black on white to white on black. Along with other small changes, like asking major GUI's like Windows and text interface to make the change to white on black, the amount of energy we are saving could be a significant contributor to carbon neutrality.





This is a petition to ask Microsoft, Linux, Firefox for dark or black themes emphasing white on black, rather than black on white. We write black on white because that was the only way we used to be able to make a mark, with dark inks on light paper, but now let's get realistic, computers use power we should be using the most energy efficent settings we can get or at least promote and supply them as alternatives.
