Increase Cleaning Frequency for Suite Toilet

Dear All,

The aim of this petition is to convince the Tembusu Management to increase the frequency of cleaning the suite toilets. The suite toilets are currently only cleaned once a week, while the corridor toilets are cleaned everyday. When I asked the Management Office about this, they gave the following reasons:

1) The suite toilet belongs to the people living in the suite. Cleaning the suite toilet is your responsibility.

2) Many more people share the common toilet than the suite toilet.

I would like to offer rebuttals plus some points of my own:

1) Are suite residents not residents of Tembusu? We pay more for the living room, but factoring that out, shouldn't our toilets be cleaned as frequently as the corridor toilets?

2) 6-12 people share a corridor toilet, six people share a suite toilet.
The current frequency of cleaning a suite toilet isn't proportionate to the number of people sharing it.

3) The female suite toilets do not, and CANNOT, have sanitary bins (while the corridor toilets do or do have, the capacity to possess one).
The MO's explanation for this: "The suite toilets aren't cleaned as frequently as the corridor toilets - it will not be hygienic to install sanitary bins when the toilet is only cleaned once a week". This sounds like a self-defeating argument to me. When I pointed out that it would be even more unhygienic to use the general wastebin for disposal, the lady looked at me and shrugged.

I understand that change cannot happen overnight. I am not asking for the suite toilets to be cleaned everyday, perhaps twice to three times a week would suffice.

I hereby encourage residents of Tembusu to join me in my effort to increase the hygiene standards in this place we call Home. To suite residents: if you share my concerns, please voice them out. To non-suite residents: if you feel my pain (even if not in actuality), please support this cause by putting your name down.
