Mr. Prashant Bushan has been making very irresponsible and anti-national statements particularly on Jammu & Kashmir. He does enjoy all the rights and privileges of being an Indian citizen but refuses to be a responsible citizen.
Section 9(1) of the Citizenship Act 1955 provides that any citizen of India who by naturalisation or registration acquires the citizenship of another country shall cease to be a citizen of India. It also provides that any citizen of India who voluntarily acquires the citizenship of another country shall cease to be a citizen of India.
Prashant Bushan has been pleading the cause of enemy nation for a long time now. So in spite of being an Indian citizen he behaves as a national of enemy country.
In this background his citizenship must be considered as terminated automatically.
