PETITION DECLARING INTENT TO RECALL JENNIFER GRANHOLM
We, the undersigned, hereby state that we would support a petition to recall Jennifer Granholm from the office of Governor of the State of Michigan, for the following reason:
1. Governor Granholm has continually increased the tax burden on the citizens of Michigan throughout her time in office through increased fees, sin taxes and now by threatening a Government Shutdown if a significant income and service sales tax increase was not passed by the legislature. The recent $1.35 Billion increase in taxes, is the final straw. In demanding this tax increase and refusing to reform our government or control spending, she has failed in her fiscal duty to the citizens of this great state.
By signing this petition, we agree that our email address may be collected to be used for the SOLE PURPOSE of contacting us to sign the ACTUAL RECALL PETITION once actual recall petition verbiage is approved. We also state that we are eligible to sign this petition by declaring that we are a currently registered voter in the State of Michigan. We understand that this petition is NOT the ACTUAL RECALL PETITION, but declare our intent to sign the ACTUAL RECALL PETITION, once it is available to be signed in person.
