Jeff return to GS

Dear GameSpot relatives,

I am here to present my opinion and try to influence you to support it. This petition is dedicated to Jeff Gerstmann, ex-Editorial Director in GameSpot, which belongs to CNET Networks Entertainment. His work has been an inspiration for many people, including myself.

With this petition, I am not trying to boycott GameSpot. I am not encouraging people to abandon GameSpot or to cancel their subscriptions. GameSpot continues to be the website we all love and care. It continues to be one of a kind in the WWW community. It represents way more than just a website. GameSpot is part of millions of lives. It makes all this people interact with each other wherever they are. Race, social classes and gender doesn't matter. In GameSpot they all belong to one Big Family. And one of the oldest people in this family was taken from us.

The sudden and unexpected departure of Jeff hurts me and all GameSpot users, but believe me, it hurts even more the GameSpot staff and Jeff even more. I believe that Jeff himself doesn't want this situation to continue as it is. Of course he has other parallel plans and jobs. But, I just can't see him living his live without being involved with GameSpot.

Well, it's time to define the purpose of this petition. It intends to bring Jeff Gerstmann back to GameSpot. I hope that, with this petition, we can change the minds of the one's that caused this situation. I sincerely wish that not only GameSpot's users sign it, but also GameSpot staff. And it is my desire that Jeff gets to know this petition, because, like I said before, it's dedicated to him.
