We, the undersigned, call on the University to reverse the decision to suspend the Computing Year Zero programme.
We understand that it is necessary to reduce the number of students and close some programmes for next year. However, Computing Year Zero is not simply another undergraduate programme. John, Dawn, Ann and Bharti have taught, supported, counselled, consoled and given a huge boost in confidence to their students and enabled us to be where we want to be.

If it wasnt for the WAIT course i would still be stuck doing mundane jobs, this has given me the confidence i needed and has made me a role model for my Children. It must stay in place to give others a chance.
