Keep Final Fantasy Versus XIII Playstation 3 exclusive

The game was first announced as an exclusive for the Playstation 3 home console system. To have the game go multiplatform would be a foolish move as the game would spend more time in development, costing Square-Enix more money. The storage space of the Xbox 360 is also very limited in comparison with the Playstation 3, meaning the graphical and audio quality would have to be brought down to have both versions of the game equal in presentation. This happened with Final Fantasy XIII, to which fans of the series complained about the quality of the game, when it was shown that the Playstation 3 version would not be using the full potential of the Playstation 3. The Xbox 360 version came on 3 discs, all of which had to be heavily compressed and uncompressed when saved to the xbox hard drive, creating more problems for the game.
The sales of Final Fantasy Versus XIII would be another problem for Square-Enix. The sales for Final Fantasy XIII on the Xbox 360 pale in comparison with the sales for the Playstation 3. Releasing Final Fantasy Versus XIII on the xbox 360 would come at a loss for Square-Enix as the sales would not be efficient enough to create a strong profit.
Sales of Final Fantasy XIII:
Xbox 360: 1.35 million
Playstation 3: 2.16 million
(Based on the sales in Western countries. This excludes Japanese sales as it was only the Playstation 3 version that was launched there. Sales comparison comes from VGChartz.com. These are only estimated sales and do not represent the final amount of games sold.)
Please Square-Enix, listen to your fans as they do not want you to make the same mistakes again.
