Keep Richard Waugh as Albert Wesker

It has recently been discovered that beloved voice actor, Richard Waugh, will no longer be providing the voice of Resident Evil's main antagonist (and central character), Albert Wesker, due to the Capcom company wanting to now work with non-union actors only.

Richard Waugh began voicing Wesker in Resident Evil: Code Veronica X, and later went on to voice him in Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil 4. Waugh's voice has become synonymous with Wesker, as well as the Resident Evil series. As far as many fans are concerned (myself included), Waugh IS Albert Wesker. He has proven to be firmly dedicated to the development of the character, and is an all-around amazing person with a definite appreciation for the Resident Evil fanbase.

In the Wesker-centric game, Umbrella Chronicles, Richard Waugh was replaced by another actor. No doubt, this other actor tried his best to mimick the perfection that is Richard Waugh, but he undoubtedly came up a little short. Fans of Wesker, and the Resident Evil series as a whole, have come to love and respect Waugh as the most popular, recognizable, and talented actor to ever contribute to the franchise.
