Keep This Store Open!!!

For those in Grand Rapids Minnesota, and the surrounding area that do not know; Sam Goody is getting ready to close down in three months.

The store and many others have been bought out by a larger coorporation. The store managers were given a two-hour notice last Wednsday night (3/29/2006).

No refunds or exchanges are being given on merchendice, and those who have purchased items on a special order will not be getting their items, and cannot redeem or have their money refunded to them at the location in Grand Rapids. Instead, those needing refunds will have to drive to the Mall of America to exchange their merchendice or to have money refunded to them.

Sam Goody in Grand Rapids has, for the past three years, been the place to go when you needed a movie, video game, or CD that you could not find any where else, and if they did not have it in stalk, you could always special order it. This store was actually making A LOT of money, and yet instead of keeping it open, this new company is closing down the store in Grand Rapids, and all other Sam Goodys that are located in smaller sized towns instead of larger cities. Believe it or not, compaired to the stores located in the Miller Hill Mall and The Mall of America, the store in Grand Rapids was making more money.
