Keep Wal-Mart Out Belle Chasse

I am asking all residents of Plaquemines Parish to sign my petition to keep Wal-Mart out of the parish. If they are able to put a store in Belle Chasse, then we have to worry about putting our local merchants out of business. Balestra's has been in business for over 30 years, how long do you think they will last if they are forced to compete with a Wal-Mart across the street. Simply put, they will not be able to and that will put them out of business. Now do we really want to do that to our friends and neighbors? I sure don't.
