We the undersigned, request that the college look into the possibility of providing cable to all dorm rooms on campus. Having one television with cable for 80 people in dorms such as Norton, Lewis, and Gund is unjust. Cable may not be the "Kenyon Way" but has become a growing part of daily life. Also, another main reason is that rabbit ears struggle receiving the local channels, a viable news source. We feel that providing cable to all rooms would be greatly beneficial and cause less stress. For instance, lounges in dormitories should not be assigned specific channels in order to prevent arguments of what is to be watched. In conclusion this move to providing cable would have numerous positive affects, whereas very few negative ones.
