Please Knock down the Astoria ASAP.
For years my gig going experiences has been marred by this dump of a venue.
The backing up of Sewage through the toilets, The obscured view and knowing that the whole place is a fire hazard waiting to happen.
Couldn't be more happy to see this part of London go... Never before have so many good gigs been ruined by a venue.
Now the land is under a new freeholder that owns the rest of the block they are going to knock it Down... Well the Cross Rail Link was going to ruin the foundations anyway... So good riddance to bad gigs.
