Recentemente tomei conhecimento do problema do infanticídio nas comunidades indígens, e da luta dos povos indígenas para vencer essa prática. Considerando que todas as crianças brasileiras devem contar com a proteção da Constituição Federal, do ECA e dos acordos internacionais de Direitos da Criança, dos quais o Brasil é signatário, solicito ao Exmo. Sr. que implemente com urgência os passos necessários para que o PL 1057/2007, conhecido como Lei Mowaji, seja votado na Comissão dos Direitos Humanos da Câmara dos Deputados ainda neste mês de junho de 2008. Criança é criança, independente de sua origem étinica. TODA CRIANÇA TEM DIREITO À VIDA!!!
