Let kids into 'the day everything became nothing' and future gigs without a responsible adult

As underage music fans in Canberra, many of us have missed out on the opportunity to see some amazing interstate and international bands due to age restrictions at the concert venues.
We would like to propose that for this concert, and hopefully others, that underage fans are given the opportunity to see these bands perform without having to stand next to a responsible adult (someone over the age of 30) all night.
We have heard of several effective measures that can be taken to ensure that people under the age of 18 are not able to buy alcohol.
The simplest form is to have a permanent marker at the door, and anyone under 18 has their hands marked with a large X
Another way that proved useful at the Metal for the Brain music festival in 2006 was to give the underage people a different colored wristband to the adults.
Underage music fans just go to the concerts to see some awesome bands and to have a good time with their friendsbut we dont always have a responsible adult to stay at the concert with us, so we miss out on seeing them.
We urge you to consider allowing underage kids to attend this concert and others, using any of the aforementioned measures or any others that you can think of to ensure that they cannot purchase alcohol.
Thankyou
