Letting Students Listen To Music During Study Time

Many teachers don't allow their students to listen to music during independent work time. Studies show, that 55% of students find that listening to music usually, if not always, helps them focus while studying. While this percentage isn't very high, that is still a majority of students that feel they would benefit by listening to music while they study.
