We, the former and current residents and staff of the Victoria University Student Village, are petitioning against the decision by management to not create a 'Memoravillia' magazine for the year 2009.
The creation of a 'Memoravillia' is an annual event, paid for solely through the residents contributions, and we feel that it is unfair that 2009 has been singled out as the one year not to receive one, as they are still planned for future years.
We propose that if management is unwilling to create this magazine, that the necessary funds be handed over to the Residence Life Team of 2009, intended for the sole purpose of creating the magazine, with any remaining funds to be returned to the Student Village to use towards endeavors for future years.
