Merit being ruined by the politics through reservations

Sir,

With due respect to the Prime minister of India, we would like to request your personal intervention in the following matter.

The UPA government is trying to divide the Indian student Community, just to endorse the vote bank politics. It has recently anounced the 49.5 pc reservations in the centrally funded colleges and universities, including IIT's, IIM's and other prominent institutes on which India prides itself, which are also the dream colleges of every Indian student.

To create reservations for 49.\% of the total seats completely undermines every notion of the so called "equality" it seeks to bring about.

Instead of focusing on increased infrastructure creation, strengthening the rural school systems and quality of education, creating trained manpower, cutting corruption and so on, the administration has instead played the
reservation card yet again.

The proposed reservation, alongwith diminishing the educational stantards, would also lead to the extinction of the brand names of IITs, IIms, etc.

So, we kindly request for your personal intervention at the earliest in the proposed act before its implemented so that the faith of Indian youth in the Indian Administration doesnt go blank and the talent can rise on the basis of merit, not castism.
