NYC Motorcycle/PTW Parking Petition

We the undersigned support the creation of designated, on-street, securable motorcycle and motor scooter parking in New York City. Recognizing that motorcycles and motor scooters can reduce traffic congestion on the streets of the city, but have no designated on-street, secure parking, we call upon the City of New York to create parking for such Powered Two Wheeled Vehicles (PTWs). Such parking should be free in residential communities just as on street car parking is, and could be Muni-Metered in business districts. The PTW parking should have features such as metal posts that PTW owners can lock their vehicles through.
