Official Petition to Add A Taco Bell on the CNU Campus

We, the undersigned members of Christopher Newport University, want to add a Taco Bell to our campus. Taco Bell would greatly improve our standard of living by adding a variety of gastronomical choices both reasonable in price, and delicious in taste. Taco Bell currently serves Pepsi Co. products and thus would not create a soda supply legality issue, and as we already have a Chick-Fil-A, there is precedent for other fast food restaurants campus wide. Taco Bell would also add to the economy of CNU by generating more money for our school through sales and rent of space, as well as offer jobs to CNU students. The addition of Taco Bell would also increase vegetarian, kosher, halal, and other dietary foods at CNU, which has become a problem of late. Taco Bell would also decrease crowding at other campus dining facilities, thus leading to a more enjoyable experience for all. Finally, adding a Taco Bell would increase the overall prestige of our great University, and in the long run, increase student admissions, and visitors. It is our conclusion therefore that having a Taco Bell is in the best interest of the campus, the students, the facility, and the overall mission of CNU.
