Ok so your wondering what this petition is all about right? Well here in ohio you have to have 1000 dollar insurance on pitbulls and if one is found wondering around they are put to sleep. I for one do not agree with this, You shouldn't have to pay that kind of money to own such a wonderful dog and putting them to sleep only makes things worse for the breed, it adds on to their bad rap not to mention it isn't right. They say that discrimination is against the law right? Maybe it should be the same for the animals. Alot of places around the states are trying to ban the pitbull completely and that is discrimination against a certain breed of dog! Come on people become more educated and blame the irrisponsible owners not the dogs! how about helping me out and maybe we could atleast make a change in ohio sign the petition for not for me but for the dogs.

I have owned Pitbulls for over 13 years now and never have i had one bite or even show aggression towards anyone.Its not the breed to blame but the bad owners out there. They make it almost impossible for us to carry on with this great breed of loving car

i think if you put a pit bull to sleep you shood be put to sleep i have had them seence i wase 3 and i am 23 now and they are the best dogs u can get an its how you raise them soo if you want to do something about them do it to the owners that fight them.

it is very wrong why dont they have to have insurance on rots, dobermans and k9 they should be to if it was like that, pits arent dicious unless people make them that way. raise them right and they will be the best thing for u.

i used to work at a dog pound and seen what them poor dog went through and how they were treated and yes it torn me up to see them be put to sleep like they were nothing

I read the opening statement and we are required to cary 100000 insuarance in canton ohio and if there being walked they got to be muzzled and if out side they have to be in fenced in area no less than 6 feet tall
