Opposition to ATV trails On Public Lands

We the undersigned are shocked and appalled at our State Legislators of the State of Wisconsin and the Department of Natural Resources that they would consider granting access to our public lands both state and county in the state of Wisconsin based on pressure being applied via ATV lobbyist. We would hope that you would reconsider any decisions for ATV trails on public lands and carefully think this through. The destruction caused by the few who fail to obey the laws far out ways those who abide by the laws. The impact on both wildlife habitat by putting in trails and maintaining and the Dollars needed to repair damage caused and in some cases irreversible. The impact on other outdoor enthusiasts such as hikers, sportsmen etc would be need to be taken into consideration and put before the public before any such action as to put in trails should be taken.
