Ordering the President of the United States and Congress to cease and desist in creating an "assault weapon" ban

To the Congress of the United States of America and President Barack Hussein Obama,
Whereas the Constitution of the United States of America protects the Right to keep and Bear Arms; and
Whereas the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution of the United States reads as follows A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bears arms, shall not be infringed; and
Whereas the Supreme Court of the United States has said the 2nd Amendment is an Individual right and belongs to all Americans; and
Whereas the expired assault weapons ban did not decrease crime at any significant way; and
Whereas the drug wars occurring on the Boarder of the United States and Mexico will not be solved by establishing another assault weapons ban; and
Whereas creating new and more restrictive gun laws will only effect the law abiding and will not reduce crime, nor cease the Mexican drug war,
BE IT THERE FOR RESOLVED THAT WE THE PEOPLE OF THESE UNITED STATES HERE BY ORDER THE CONGRESS OF THESE UNITED STATES AND PRESIDENT BARRACK HUSSEIN OBAMA TO CEASE AND DESIST CREATING MORE RESTRICTIVE GUN LAWS AND TO CEASE AND DESIST IN INTRODUCING LEGISLATION TO CREATE AN ASSUALT WEAPONS BAN IN ANY FORM OR FASHION.
SO ORDERED BY THE PEOPLE OF THESE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

just because a gun is classified as an "assault weapon" it doesnt make it any more likely to kill or wound a person any more than a gun that "looks" safer and less intimadating. We just need to enforce current laws better. This action of banning weapons w
