Original Final Fantasy Controller Configuration

Dear Square Enix,
Those of us who have been playing the series since the beginning, or since the 7th installment, will know of the original controller configuration. Confirm on the right, and cancel on the left (whether it be an NES controller, a SNES controller, or the SNES controller clone, the PSX controller or PS2 controller). The release of Final Fantasy VIII brought along a switch in these button's roles in gameplay, but left you the option to return them to what we have been playing on for allmost 2 decades. However, in the most recent installment (Final Fantasy X) players lose the ability to swith their buttons to what they are used to, and in the ports of Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy VI.

Here, in this petition, the undersigned merely asks that you allow us to play the games the way we have been for so long now (and so we dont cancel attacks, as I am sure many of us have). Whatever reason you have for the change, we would appreciate the option to play the way we allways have.

We formally ask for an option to play the upcoming installments of the Final Fantasy series, with the original button configuration.
