Petition to reconsider mandatory health insurance policy for international students
We, the undersigned, request the administration of The John Hopkins University to reconsider the recent change of policy which requires all international students to purchase health insurance from the school. The fee of $1,318 is one of the highest among educational institutions in the US. It is also an added burden for many of us who are already covered by less expensive health insurance policies from our native countries.
We request the choice to waive the health insurance fee from The Peabody Conservatory if we have alternative means of coverage.
