Pela representação portuguesa na cerimónia de entrega do Nobel da Paz a Liu Xiaobo

Os signatários saúdam como uma boa notícia para a causa global da defesa e extensão das liberdades e direitos democráticos em todo o mundo a atribuição do Prémio Nobel da Paz a Liu Xiaobo.
Sendo assim, e perante as notícias difundidas nas últimas semanas dando conta das pressões exercidas pela diplomacia chinesa junto das autoridades de diversos outros países em vista de estes não se fazerem representar na cerimónia da entrega do Prémio Nobel da Paz a Liu Xiaobo, chamam a atenção da Presidência da República Portuguesa, da Assembleia da República e do Governo para o facto de que a eventual ausência de representação da República na referida cerimónia equivaleria a uma capitulação intolerável perante as pressões das autoridades chinesas. Por isso, exigem que Portugal esteja oficialmente representado em Oslo, saudando o Nobel da Paz Liu Xiaobo.
