Trooper Williams is a serving soldier with the RTR. He is currently under arrest in Catterick Barracks awaiting trial for Murder.

His crime was to be sent to Iraq in a war Scenario and to shoot someone who was armed with a gun.

A regimental inquiry found him innocent of any charges as did an Army Tribunal.

However The Attorney General, the same Attorney General who told us all that the war in Iraq was both just and legal, decided there was a case to be brought against Trooper Williams of murder.

If found guilty of the charge Trooper Williams will be faced with a mandatory life sentence.
