Petition for the induction of Judas Priest into the Rock&Roll Hall of Fame

We the undersigned, do hereby formally petition the nominating committee of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to nominate the Heavy Metal band Judas Priest for induction into the Rock & Roll hall of Fame. Since their first album release (Rock-A-Rolla) in 1974 the founding members of Judas Priest: Rob Halford, Glenn Tipton, Ken(KK) Downing and Ian hill have continually been a major influence on Rock & Roll specifically; Heavy Metal. From Rob halfords metal studded soaring vocals to Tipton & Downings searing duel guitar solos have heavily influenced most all of todays modern Heavy Metal Bands and musicians. We formally request that Judas Priest be inducted under the performers category so they may claim their rightful place in The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
