Pleasant Hills PA No to Rezone behind Sheetz

We, the undersigned, are concerned Pleasant Hills Citizens who urge our council to oppose the rezoning of the area behind Sheetz Rt. 51 from residential to commercial to aid the Glimcher Group in developing the site for Lowes.
The vicinity between Telstar and Manor Drives has been subjected to mine subsidence; the excavation of this area could lead to more damage to the surrounding homes.
The last proposed plan would bring the store sideways up to the middle of Toura Drive and right below the new housing development at Robinson Drive. The lights, noise and disruption to the existing green area will significantly deteriorate the landscape which will devalue the properties in this corridor.
LET's keep our HILLS Pleasant-urge COUNCIL TO VOTE NO TO REZONE!!!!
