To Whom It May Concern
We, a fairly large number of Iranians who have applied to the Quebec skilled worker program and whose files have remained in Ankara visa office of Canada, are writing this letter to request our files to be transferred to another visa office for further processing.
As you know, after the closure of Damascus Visa Office of Canada, all the Iranian QSW
files were transferred to Ankara Visa Office. After a long time of waiting and no change in the status of the majority of the files in Ankara, all Iranian QSW files of 2010, 2011, 2012
and 2013 (except for the files with Federal File Numbers issued in January and February 2013) were transferred to Paris Visa Office due to numerous protests and complaints.
Surprisingly and for no obvious reason, only cases with Federal File Numbers
issued in January and February 2013 (which have been received in November and
December 2012 at the Centralized-Intake-Office of Sydney) remained in Ankara visa
office.
This even becomes more surprising and illogical, when cases with Federal File Numbers issued long after February 2013 are receiving medical- exam requests and immigrant visas from Paris Visa Office, whereas the status of the cases remaining in Ankara (even Quebec High- Demand Occupations, which have been opened a long time ago) is unclear and even some older cases of 2012 haven't gone under any further processing (based on the CAIPS and GCMS results of many applicants).
After many follow-ups done to Ankara Visa Office, they announced that some of the reasons causing this long-term process of QSW applications in Ankara Visa Office are: lack of human resources, heavy workload, overgrowing number of refugees in this area
of the world and low priority of Skilled Worker applications.
As a result, Since only the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has the mandate to make the decision whether to transfer the remaining files in Ankara Visa Office to somewhere else and with regard to what has been explained, we respectfully request our files to be transferred to another visa office, possessing the same capability and fast pace in processing files in a timely manner, as witnessed in Paris Visa Office.
In advance, we all thank you for the time you are going to dedicate to reviewing our request.
We are looking forward to your reply.
Faithfully Yours,
Iranian Quebec Selected Skilled Workers with files in Ankara Visa Office
