We believe that Pluto's demotion from planet status was an unfortunate and unfair decision by the International Astronomical Union. Pluto has been an integral part of our solar system for who knows how long, providing a ready answer to the question, "So what is the coldest planet of them all?" Pluto's mystery and elusiveness are aspects of its charm, and it should not be discriminated against for being "too small" or because its "oblong orbit overlaps with Neptune's" or whatever other excuse the so-called "experts" come up with. We submit that Pluto should immediately regain its status as the cherished 9th planet in our solar system.
