"Predator 2" director's cut DVD re-issue petition

The Predator film series is a landmark franchise in the science fiction genre and the films within the franchise are excellent in quality boasting immense merit. Both Predator films were very successful in the box office, and a third stand-alone Predator sequel is long overdue and essential. Many fans believe that an extended director's cut version of the second film should be re-issued sometime in 2010, which marks the 20th Anniversary of the film's theatrical release. Because after listening to the commentary tracks by the film's director and writers, it led us to believe that the running time originally ran somewhere in the 120-130 minute range, with many of the scenes being cut out for time, pacing, and ratings purposes, which brought it down to its current 108-minute running time. Even the film's director Stephen Hopkins talks about on his commentary, how the movie had suffered over 20+ cuts to bring it down from an NC-17 to an R-rating. And due to Stan Winston's untimely passing recently, many fans would like to see a special tribute added onto the possible DVD re-issue, honoring him and his life's work.
We would greatly appreciate it if 20th Century Fox made plans to release the uncut extended version of "Predator 2" with most of the missing scenes re-inserted back into the actual film, as the celebration of the film's upcoming 20th Anniversary is coming up in a couple of years, that's if any of the footage still exits, we have voiced our opinion in this petition.
