President V. Putins dangerous politics in Iran

During the World War II the Soviet army was the most dominant force in the defeat of fascism and in the destruction of Hitler. The legendary courage of the Russian people has merited them an enormous worldwide sympathy.

Todays political orientation of president Putin is inconceivable, not to say dangerous. His recent friendly contacts with some of the most dangerous militant groups is very unfortunate:
1)He held an official state reception for the Hamas leader Khaled Mashal (Hamas is recognized as a terrorist group).

2)He supplies Syria with the new military technology.

3)President Putin went to Iran on 10/16/2007 on an official visit, and had friendly talks with Irans president Ahmenidijad, who is the most active supporter of the terror against western countries. At present the government of Iran supports morally and with supplies of military technology such terrorist organizations as: Hizbulla, Hamas, Islamic-Jihad and maybe even Al-Quaida. In addition, President Ahmenidijad without shame denies the Holocaust, and calls for the wiping off of the state of Israel and of its Jewish people.

On this background the position of president Putin is highly surprisingly and absolutely incomprehensible. Is president V. Putin supporting the resurrection of a new contemporary Hitler? All the above mentioned actions give that impression.

President Putin has provided help for the Irans ambitions to acquire nuclear power and announced his intentions to continue to do so. Putin tried to convince the world that Iran wants to utilize nuclear power only for peaceful purposes.

Despite the categorical opposition of all the progressive forces worldwide to Iran acquiring a nuclear arm, president Putin is opposing in the UN resolutions for the harsher sanctions against this country.

I am absolutely convinced that the majority of the Russian people, if they were asked, would declare themselves against the president Putin's political orientations towards Iran. However, as a contemporary dictator of the democratic country, Putin absolutely disregards the opinion of his people and the opinion of the progressive people in the world.

As president Bush warned, Irans acquirement of nuclear power can lead to World War III, with use of satellites, modern aircrafts and ballistic missiles, equip oneself with the atomic weapon. If Iran equipped itself with atomic weapon, such a third World War will cause irreparable catastrophic consequences for all humanity.
Its regrettable that until now the free Russian press did not publish a single critical article or note against the president Putins politics towards Iran. Therefore world Humanity can hold responsible for horrifying events, not only president Putin, but the whole Russian nation as well.
