We the undersigned agree that the Corporation of the City of Guelph By-Law (2003)-17070 (http://www.guelph.ca/uploads/PDF/By-laws/waste_collection.pdf) is a violation of our privacy. Specifically, the inclusion section 3.(2)(j)(E) (regarding the mandatory use of transparent bags) means that an individual's waste becomes visible to the public. This allows the public to deduce aspects of that person's lifestyle, which they may not normally wish to have disclosed. We further agree that By-Law (2003)-17070 should be amended to allow for the use of non-transparent bags.
